The next list contains games that do not meet the requirements to enter the charts or I haven't had time to add them but they definitely deserve a look.

soccer at managergames havent got nowhere near that amount of users. check their daily visits - ours is 4 times higher :P

also hattricks user amount is around 500.000 because of their way to purge inactive users who are above a certain division. you can get a grasp of the amount of active hattrick users by looking at their games this week. if youre active at hattrick you have to play a friendly. So its your league match and friendly.

admin said...: I know that Soccer at Manager Games is fishy, that's why I wrote "127 165 users claimed". I also think that the fact that Manager Zone claims the same number of users at both their games, football and hockey, rises some question marks.

About hattrick. If my calculations are right, there are 1 440 464 teams, the bots included, so there are 720 232 league matches, and 279 152 friendly/cup matches, so yes you are right, there are only about 558 304 active teams. The time in witch a team becomes a bot is a bit long, 49 days, but let's not forget that the number of cheaters is as small as possible, I know that for sure.

This blog is dedicated in bringing you the best Online Sport Managers. There are many online games directories and charts but none of them are accurate. Some of them have so many bad games indexed that it's very hard to find the worthy ones. Others have their charts based on the votes of the users, but those can be easily faked, if you take a look you'll see how low ranked Hattrick is, although it's the biggest game out there with almost 1 million users. So I've decided to make a chart based on the single most important indicator of a good game: the number of players. The number of players taken into account is the one claimed by each site, as I have no other means of checking. If there is any evidence of inflated values I will exclude the game from the charts. All the games in those charts are MMOGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Games) and suits the newly defined PBBG type of games.

Rules

As of pbbg.com, a PBBG is a computer game that satisfies the following two criteria: It is browser-based. The game is played over the Internet using only a web browser. It is persistent. Progress in the game is achieved over multiple playing sessions. In addition to those rules the games must comply also to the following: They are free of charge. No fee is required for the game it self. Charging of advanced features is allowed. The games that gives advantages to the paying users are followed by a $ sign. They are endless. The achieves of a player are never lost. Only one account. Double accounts are prohibited and there must be an active system to track down the cheaters. No inactive users. Inactive users should be deleted from the system in a decent amount of time. A virtual world only. The events in the real world have no effect in the game whatsoever. No fantasy type of games. The games are global. Each player should be in a competition of some kind with all the other managers. Exceptions are allowed, such as dividing the users by countries.
